A high-powered attorney who “wants it all”. She can only justify going back to work because Max has promised to dedicate himself to their son.

Overbearing self-appointed neighbourhood ubermom. Clad in high-end leisurewear, entitlement and judgement.
EARTH MOTHER
Socially-aware local crunchy granola type mum who maintains a parenting blog – always looking for opportunities to plug it and perhaps gain some sponsorship deals.
HANNAH
12-year old girl whose cat, Mr. Poops, has disappeared. While postering the neighbourhood, she ends up hiring Max to find her cat in exchange for babysitting services.
ANGELA
Hannah’s stepmother. She thinks hiring a detective to find a lost cat is a waste of time but it means Hannah isn’t dragging her around the neighbourhood looking for it.
CAT LADY
A neighbour suspiciously wondering what Max is up to but, when she finds out he is looking for a lost cat, she agrees to watch Darius while Max pursues this important investigation.
JOE
Older Southern European gentleman who hires Max to find out who’s been letting their dog poop on his property in exchange for providing Max with home-grown produce and preserves.
DISTINGUISHED LADY
Approaches Max to join the Neighbourhood Watch. They’ve noticed what Max has been up to and think his skills can be put to better use.
SPANDEX MAN
One of those guys who wears spandex to ride a bike. He hires Max to find out who keeps calling the city on him in exchange for an old tricycle Darius can use someday.
YULIA
Mother who overhears frightening and suspicious communications over her baby monitor. In exchange for landscaping services, she hires Max to investigate and foil the threat.
PREGGO, THE DIAPER BAG THIEF
Young thief who infiltrates high-end parks to steal expensive strollers, diaper bags and the contents therein – except the kids, she leaves the kids behind.
SHABBY DAD
An older stay at home dad who feels his choice has rendered him socially invisible, sexless and lacking in status. Max’s cautionary tale.
